Samsung presented a monitor, which sets for the first time on already some time ago the announced display haven as interface to the PC. The advantage of this type of connection is in the clearly larger information flow-rate: Up to 2,7 Gbit can be transported per second per line - four lines are available altogether. In this way can the four million pixel of the display more than a billion colors represent.
In order to realize these over an DVI interface, equivalent three such connections were needed. The display has a size of 30 tariff and comes on a dissolution of 2560 x of 1600 pixels. Samsung did not betray further data so far. In the second quarter of the yearly 2008 the equipment is to go into series production. Until it on the market comes some time will accordingly still pass.
