Intel Core 2 Duo Extreme mobile

With the Core-2-Duo-Extreme Intel wants to address above all players and other achievement-hungry clients. Opposite a T2600 mobile processor promises Intel up to 28% more achievement.

Contrary to usual Core-2-Duos the X7800 baptized computing core over clocks leaves itself. That is possible, because Intel on customer’s request removed the multiplicator barrier. Thus users and Notebook manufacturers can increase the achievement of equipment still further.

The Core-2-Duo-Extreme mobile processor has all energy savings functions of the mobile core processors. Also otherwise it resembles its small relatives. It had 4 MByte a large L2-Cache and each core clocks with 2,6 GHz. The Frontside bus works also at the extreme variant with 800 MHz.

Extreme one is the processor likewise with the price. With an acceptance of 1000 copies Intel requires a unit price of 851 dollar. Intel promises that first Notebooks with Core-2-Duo-Extreme should be available in two weeks.
Intel presented besides new Desktop processors with up to four cores.
