Intel Bearlake Next generation of Main board chip

Intel has on the CeBIT the next generation of its Main-board-chip-corrodes announced, which bring numerous innovations with itself. So far under the code name “Bearlake” admitted “Intel 3 Series chip set” like G35, P35 and X38 support among other things the end this yearly coming 45nm processors (“Penryn”) as well as 1333 MHz front Side bus and DDR3 SDRAM with up to 1333 MHz.
Announcement

Chip set highlight Intel decided with the new chip corroding for a new naming, since one had last already arrived with 965 and 975. In High ending range will give it the X38, which can presumably only be combined as with two PCI express x16 card locations. Under it in the Desktop segment the P35 is directly positioned, practical the successor 965. Within the Mainstream range there is then still to G33 and G35 with integrated diagram.

The G31 serves the low price segment and has likewise integrated diagram. The differences of the G-models lie in individual features as well as the diagram achievement, details wanted Intel however yet to call.
The Q33 and Q35 chip set form basis of new Business platforms.
Everything chip-corrodes is according to data of Intel less river to use and therefore the far relationship of performance and Watt improve. Also Intel turbo MEMORY, the integration of Flash for faster data access is supported as with the next Notebookplattform “Santa rosa”. A further new feature is “rapidly Recovery”, quasi an integrated disk image Tool, with which partitions can be restored fast – a second non removable disk presupposed.
The chip sentence models with integrated diagram support a playing of High definition video of HD-DVD and Blu ray media and can with DVI and HDMI connection be equipped. The support for DirectX 10 is prepared and by driver updates is delivered subsequently.
The beginning will Intel G33 and P35 chip-corrode in the second quarter to make. In the third quarter then the other chip set models follow.
Become necessary the new chip-corrode, because Intel is increased in the spring with some new core 2 duo processors the front Side bus from so far 1066 to 1333 MHz and this of the current chip corroding yet is not supported, although further the LGA775 base format is used. Same applies to the 45nm Penryn announced for end of this yearly.
The so far still rare and therefore very expensive DDR3 main storage is not by the way yet absolutely necessary: the new Intel series of 3 chip-corrode support also DDR2 SDRAM.
