Pros: 1. Absolutely stunning design, clear screen (don’t let those WSXGA people get to you), one of the best looking laptops on the market right now if you like a sleek look. The black finish & material used for construction around the whole laptop makes the user feel very expensive and elite. 2. The weight is just right as a media-centric laptop, considering the onboard components, a VERY good desktop replacement for the average ~ above average user. 3. ASUS does not disappoint with special laptop features & add-on components – TV Tuner Card, Firewire, TV-Out, SPDIF-In & etc. 4. Price. The cost of this machine at the time I bought was around $1600. With 2 years of manufacturer’s global warranty, x1600 mobility radeon, 1G RAM, I see no problem with this monetary equation. 5. It’s a media-center-phile’s dream. I watch a sh!tload of movies, listen to music constantly (surround sound included), I can’t ask for anything more.
